Oh, Right... The Sixers

I'm not obliged to mention this in any way, but the 76ers begin their season on the road at Toronto on Halloween night. This date seems appropriate for two reasons: they've disguised themselves as a basketball team, and things are about to get scary.

The Pros: They're young.
The Cons: Pretty much everything else.

Needless to say, the outlook on Philly's season is not what you'd call "positive." In fact, their prospects, if the experts are correct, look downright dismal. Only one analyst over at the Worldwide Leader -- Ric Bucher -- picked your Philadelphia 76ers to finish higher than fifth in the Atlantic Division.

That's right -- the Knicks are expected to have a better year than the Sixers. The New York Knicks. It's going to be a long winter.

(Guess who shows up at the WWL? Hey, local boy makes good!)
