Jon Bon Jovi is giving a free concert in Central Park to kick off the All-Star festivities in New York City on July 12. Fine, whatever. But some enterprising would-be scalpers are taking their free tickets to the show (which were handed out by the city) and trying to auction them off on eBay.
Bids for these tickets have already gotten as high as $1500, or about as much as a middle-aged mother of three from Sayreville would be willing to pay.
Don't get me wrong -- I'm happy the Soul are advancing in the AFL playoffs and everything -- but I wouldn't go to see a Bon Jovi concert if you gave me $1500.
Now, throw in a free mullet and ripped jeans and perhaps I'd consider that offer but otherwise... nope, no thanks.

Not that I actually like Bon Jovi or anything, but you bet your ass I'd suffer through 3.5 hours of an extended version of "Dead or Alive" if you were to pay me $1500...
You're a better man than I am, Bill.
Nah, just poorer and more of a whore...
